Feel like a little school this summer? This week we continue with our "Ecommerce 101" series on setting up a business Web site, from soup to nuts. (I'm not sure who coined the expression "from soup to nuts" and decided it would mean comprehensive, but we'll go with it.)

That the Internet has enabled so many businesses to start up with lowered barriers to entry is a good thing, but it can also mean overwhelming choices. For example, trying to sort out the world of Web hosts is not an easy endeavor. There are so many of them out there, and it seems like there are more every day. But MyEZsale is going to clarify the arena and hopefully make the choice easier for you.

While we are covering some basic topics for starting or upgrading businesses, like choosing Web hosts, it doesn't mean MyEZsale has forgotten that many of you are already running businesses, and want to know about techniques to keep the wheels turning and sales going. To that end, we'll continue to feature pieces about marketing and sales as we go. And in this issue, I'm pleased to offer you a piece from one of my favorite writers and marketers: Judy Cullins, whose advice has helped me multiply my own ebook sales.

In other news, I've heard from more of you about who you are and what you sell. Some of those letters are in our Reader Mail section. I'd like to invite you to write me for another reason: we will be soon starting our business "case studies," where we focus on a business and examine how a new product, technology, or ad campaign does for that company. So if you have something you think would make for an interesting story, please write me at Julia@myezsale.com!
